|Journalists to write books that will impact on the society- DG FRCN urges|
Nigerian Journalists have been urged to document their wealth of experience in the field by writing books that will impact on the society.
The Director General of FRCN, Mallam Yusuf Nuhu gave the advice in Abuja during a visit to the Headquarters of the Corporation by the organizing committee for the public presentation of a book titled "Nigeria and the Crisis of a Nation State" written by a journalist, Mr. Emeka Nwosu.
The Director-General, represented by the Director Programmes, Alhaji Ibrahim Bako promised to assist the Committee by giving the event the desired publicity.
The Chairman of the organizing committee, Gbenga Onayiga, urged more journalists to emulate Mr. Emeka Nwosu by writing more books.
The Author of the book, Mr. Emeka Nwosu, who is an Aide to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, said he was inspired to write the book based on the vast knowledge acquired while practicing journalism.
Mr. Nwosu's book is scheduled for public presentation early next month in Abuja.
