The National Executive members of PDP Core Supporters Network, led by Alhaji Shebeti I. Sule, visited Radio Nigeria to sensitize the public about their votes towards the 2011 election.

This NGO, PDP Core Supporters Network (PCSN) is an umbrella body for all PDP Supporters in 29 states and Abuja. With the voluntary crusade of mobilizing, maintaining and managing a PDP People-oriented assembly, the interest of the party, its development and sustenance is their concern.

Funded by its members who believe in the attainment of the group’s goal, they aimed at subscribing to its aims and objectives with a common purpose. The Network serves a mandate of employing and supporting men and women of proven integrity into leadership position through effective employment of all democrats within its confines.

The group’s motives which include improving the poor political orientation currently looming among party members, participating in the electioneering processes of choice leaders to enable voters vote count.

Alhaji Sule commended the appointment of Prof. Jega as INEC Chairman in ensuring a credible election in 2011. The people however, should insist on one man one vote panacea to compliment the government efforts. 

Remarks

The Director General, Barr. Yusuf Nuhu acknowledged the NGO since they focus on the grass roots; all hands must be on deck to achieve a credible election in 2011.

He therefore, promised Radio Nigeria’s support in the activities of the organization.
