RATTAWU: New executives inaugurated

The Director-General of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Mallam Yusuf Nuhu says harmonious relations between the various Trade Unions in the Corporation and Management will enhance the operations of the Corporation.
 
He stated this in Abuja when the newly elected members of the Radio, Television, Theatre, Arts Workers’ Union, RATTAWU, Radio Nigeria, Abuja National Station Chapter paid him a courtesy visit.
 
Represented by the Director Programmes, Alhaji Ibrahim Bako, the Director-General commended the various Unions in the Corporation for maintaining industrial harmony.
 
He urged them to ensure that the concerns of their Colleagues were given adequate attention at all times.

Mallam Yusuf Nuhu said the Management of the Corporation was doing all in its power to ensure that the Abuja National Station of the Corporation was properly repositioned ten months after it was gutted by fire.
 
Earlier, the Chairman of the newly elected executives of RATTAWU, Chi Chi Ilochi called on the Management of the Corporation to facilitate the reconstruction of the administrative Block of the National Station in Gwagwalada to enhance staff productivity.
 
Other executive members who spoke called on the Management to evolve a policy that would guide the accessibility of loans by the staff of the Corporation.
